Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR)

Congratulations on taking an important step towards your health by evaluating your Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR)! This ratio is a valuable indicator of fat distribution in the body and can help assess the risk of developing health issues related to obesity. The general range for WHR is typically considered healthy at 0.85 or less for women and 0.90 or less for men. To measure your WHR, you will need to take two measurements: your waist circumference (the narrowest part of your torso) and your hip circumference (the widest part of your hips). Simply divide the waist measurement by the hip measurement to calculate your WHR. For example, if your waist measures 80 cm and your hips measure 100 cm, your WHR would be 0.8.
